Best of Bhutan

Kingdom in the sky

Bhutan is a Himalayan Kingdom that had been blissfully untouched for centuries. With a small population of warm and hospitable people, it is one of the most peaceful and well-preserved regions of the world. Beautiful landscapes, lush forests, gushing rivers, stunning view of the mountains and unique architecture make it a great escape into an almost surreal place. This tour is a perfect combination of Bhutan’s culture and religion, its temples and monasteries, as well as its outdoors with a bit of adventure.

Crossing the Dochu La again, drive to Paro (130 ms, 4 hours). Visit the National Museum and then try your hand at archery, Bhutan’s national sport.

Spend some time with a farmer family at their home where you learn about Bhutanese cooking and eat dinner.
